Teresa is an experienced Landlord and property investor in her own right having established her own property portfolio, it’s this experience that has helped shape the systems and processes that Galley Properties use to let and manage properties on a daily basis.
She has a decade of experience in the property industry and had her many achievements within the industry formally recognised with a range of prestigious awards. Awards that she has stacked up include: the Yorkshire, Humberside and North East WiBA Award for Property Services 2012 and again in 2013. She was shortlisted for the NLA property business woman award for UK Letting Agent in 2012. 2008 saw her crowned the first Yorkshire and then the first UK Bradford and Bingley Property Business Woman of the Year, this decision was based on her property portfolio, financial success and personal achievements..
Following the awards, Teresa has featured regularly in both the local and national press and has been interviewed live on
BBC Radio Sheffield and Hope FM and is often asked for her expert opinion on property issues.
Until recently Teresa was the National Landlords Association, (NLA) Regional Representative for S. Yorks, N & NE Lincs. & Kingston upon Hull, which saw her working with a number of Local Authorities and Local Landlord Associations to promote the interests of the private Landlord.
Her business background includes 7 years as the Business Development Manager, responsible for managing multi million pound contracts, (including the Metro Newspaper) that generated secondary revenues for London Underground. During this time she became an APM, (Association of Project Management) qualified Project Manager and was involved in a number of major projects. These included leading the project to introduce mobile phone signals to the deep level tube and working on the Oyster travel card delivery programme.
Teresa continues to offer property consultancy services and is searching for her next major project. She also sits on the Board of Trustees for Doncaster Housing Young People, (DHYP).
In her spare time, Teresa is renovating her own home and also loves to travel.
