We will assess and report interest in your property

What we do once an offer is received:

We will notify you verbally and in writing.

We qualify the buyer to assess their circumstances and the chances of the offer proceeding to completion.
Once the offer is accepted we will produce a memorandum of sale and write to all parties confirming the agreed sale price.

We aim to keep you updated throughout this whole process and will liaise with both you and the buyers solicitor, ensuring as smooth a process as possible.

 

What you will need to do:

Instruct a Solicitor, but before you do ask who Galley Properties recommend. We have established good working relationships with local Solicitors firms.

If you are involved in a chain then you will need to have your mortgage offer confirmed and arrange for a survey of the property that you intend to purchase. Your Solicitor will advise you of anything else that you need to do.

 

What your Solicitor will do on your behalf:

Week 1: Request the title deeds from your current lender.
Week 2: Send out the relevant property forms.
Week 3: Request monies to be held on account.
Week 4: Apply for searches.
Week 5: Ask for your agreement on the fixtures and fittings to be included.
Week 6-7: The contract will be signed by both parties.

Once the contact has been signed a deposit, (usually 10% of the purchase price) is transferred to your solicitor from the buyers solicitor.
