Joanne completed Amsterdam marathon

Joanne Houghton, our facilities manager, has been presented with a medal for successfully running the 42 kilometre Amsterdam marathon.
After months of training under a strict, challenging regime, Joanne was proud to finish the race in an impressive 4 hours and 40 minutes.

The run is well known for its picturesque scenery and Joanne was captivated by it, “It was easily one of the most beautiful runs I have ever been on. Vondel park, Amstel river, the Olympic stadium, they were all just stunning. They all helped add to the excitement and spur me on to the finish line. I’m just so happy that I got to take part and now I’m just really looking forward to all my future runs too.”{mosimage}

Joanne is a dedicated member of the Tickhill running club and has already taken part in a number of races and marathons to date.

Here at Galley properties we are proud to have yet another member of staff that has excelled themselves to such a degree.

To have someone with such drive and dedication working for us is a huge asset and Jo never stops giving her all to her job either.
