Vacancy title: Receptionist / Administration Assistant

Vacancy Short Description: We are looking for a receptionist / administrator to support a busy letting agency.

Vacancy Full Description: Job purpose: To be the first point of contact for customers and to ensure the smooth running of the office by supporting the managers in their roles and deliver the best levels of customer service. Key responsibilities and accountabilities: Reception duties. Answering the telephone in a professional manner, email and visitor queries. Meeting and greeting customers. General administrative duties including typing correspondence by email and letter. Entering data onto internal systems with a high level of accuracy. Process application and / or insurance forms. Cash handling. Filing and scanning, updating customer records. Maintaining and updating the computerized property management system. Adhere to local and externally relevant health and safety laws and policies.Assisting the team with duties as and when required.

Number of Positions: 1

Future Prospects: Possibility of securing a permanent job within the company. Progression to a level 3 NVQ qualification is a possibility.

Any additional employer training: Company Induction. In house training. Possibility of future Industry specific training.

Expected Duration for Training / apprenticeship: 12 months

Skills Required: We are looking for an enthusiastic individual, with a flexible approach to work in a busy, fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will need to be a confident individual who has the ability to work independently without the need for close supervision. We are looking for somebody who is a good communicator, with a clear and professional telephone manner. You will be required to finish work to tight dead lines, with excellent time management skills.Good IT and hand writing skills essential.

Personal Qualities: A hardworking individual who has a proactive approach to their work, with good attention to detail. Must have a methodical approach to tasks and problems. Willingness to go that extra mile and succeed within the business. A professional and smart corporate apprearance is essential. You must have good communication skills.

Qualifications Required: English Language and Maths Grades A-C preferred.

Other: Must work Alternate Saturdays. Flexible to work additional hours as and when required.
