Road links to A1(M), M18 and M62 make travel to nearby areas easier and faster. The A19 connects the city to York in the North. The A635 connects it to Barnsley in the West. The A630 makes Rotherham and Sheffield, towards the South-west, accessible from the city.
Rail Links, having a station on the East Coast Rail Line means that Doncaster is centrally placed for London and Edinburgh rail transport.
Robin Hood International Airport April 2005 saw the launch of Doncaster’s major new airport with Doncaster now being recognised as an important European hub.
Port of Hull – is only one hour away with good road and public transport links. P&O Ferries is the operator with ferry crossings to Zebrugge and Rotterdam.
